GC ZURICH HOSTS LAUSANNE-SPORT

After the international break, the Hoppers return to action on Easter Monday against FC Lausanne-Sport. The team from canton Vaud will be the visitors in the 29th CSSL round.

Bruno Berner's team played two friendly games during the national team break. While they were beaten 1:2 by Schaffhausen in the first game, they won the second friendly against Vaduz 5:2. Prior to that, they drew 1:1 against FC St.Gallen 1879 in the championship. Now they face Lausanne-Sport, a direct rival in the table.

""An important match against a direct rival awaits us. Our goal is to get back to winning ways against Lausanne-Sport. To do so, we need a mature team performance and the support of our fans," said captain Amir Abrashi ahead of the game.

FC Lausanne-Sport did not play a friendly game during the international break. They recently shown an impressive game in the championship when they beat the leaders from Bern 2:0 at home. As a result, the team from western Switzerland overtook the Hoppers in the table and now have a two-point lead over the Zurich side.

Head coach Bruno Berner will be without Dijon Kameri for the game against Lausanne-Sport. Dijon Kameri suffered a tear to his outer miniscus and underwent surgery. The young attacking player is already undergoing rehabilitation and is expected to be out for four to six weeks. Joshua Laws will return to the squad after his yellow/red card suspension. Berner can also count on Giotto Morandi, Dirk Abels and Manuel Kuttin again, who are all ready for action after their injuries.

The match can be followed as usual on 86live via live ticker and radio. The match can also be seen on pay TV on blue Sport.
