GFAG shall not be liable for any delayed or undelivered tickets. The ticket holder undertakes to ensure that the tickets are correct after receiving them. Any complaints must be reported to GFAG immediately.
If the season ticket is forgotten, the season ticket holder can personally purchase a replacement ticket at the box office against proof of ownership and payment of a fee of CHF 5.00 per season. If the ticket is forgotten again, the holder shall be charged the full price of a single ticket.
Lost season tickets may be replaced upon written request to the GFAG office, and where adequate proof is provided, for a fee of CHF 30.00. A single ticket may be replaced (single ticket, Print@Home) where adequate proof is provided for a fee of CHF 5.00 per ticket.
2.3 Print@Home tickets
When purchasing tickets online, buyers have the option to print out a single ticket using the Print@Home function. Printing the ticket on paper is compulsory if this option has been selected. Print@Home tickets may be printed out at the special counter on the matchday for an additional processing fee of CHF 5.00 per ticket.
The ticket has a barcode that is scanned by a turnstile at each entrance. The ticket holder shall be responsible for ensuring that this barcode has been printed clearly enough to be scanned and that it remains in this condition to be presented at the turnstile.
Tickets must not be printed or photocopied multiple times. The first person to use a Print@Home ticket shall be admitted into the stadium after which the ticket shall be frozen for further admission. If several identical Print@Home tickets are found to be in circulation, they may be rejected upon inspection without entitling the holder to a refund of the purchase price.
2.4 Third-party providers
GFAG distances itself in every form from ticket sales from third-party providers (e.g. VIAGOGO), external auction platforms or online ticket exchanges. GFAG rejects any liability for and information on prices, validity, etc. for tickets that were not purchased via the official selling points and reserves the right to block such tickets for security reasons. These tickets thereby immediately become invalid and can no longer be used to access the stadium. There is no claim to replacement, redemption, exchange or compensation of such a ticket.
3. Admission to the stadium
A single ticket grants the holder one-time admission into the stadium for the GFAG event in question. Re-entry shall not be permitted.
A season ticket grants the holder one-time admission into the stadium for each GFAG home match in the designated SFL season. The season ticket is not valid for friendly and trial matches, matches in the SFV Swiss Cup or matches in UEFA competitions. GFAG shall determine season ticket holders’ advance purchasing rights for these matches on a case-by-case basis.
Every ticket holder shall be subject to inspection by the ticket and security staff upon entry. Any items of clothing and containers brought onto the site may be searched. Any ticket holders who are banned from the stadium or deemed a security risk following inspection at the entrance may be refused entry and their ticket cancelled without entitling them to a refund of the purchasing price. Discounted ticket holders must be able to provide adequate proof of identity at the entrance inspection.
Ticket holders attend the stadium at their own risk. To the extent permissible by law, GFAG shall not accept any liability in the event of personal injury, damage to property or any other financial losses connected to the holding, relocation or cancellation of the event.
As a crowd member, the ticket holder may be filmed or photographed. Some of these images may be used by GFAG for commercial purposes.
If any stadium regulations are violated, GFAG shall reserve the right to eject ticket holders from the stadium and cancel the ticket or season ticket without reimbursing the buyer for the cost of the ticket. Entering the pitch is not permitted under any circumstances.
If GFAG receives a fine from an association (SFL, SFV, UEFA etc.) as a result of the misconduct of ticket holders, GFAG shall reserve the right to take recourse against the responsible ticket holder(s) up to the amount of the fine. If multiple ticket holders are responsible, they shall assume joint liability for the entire fine.
If GFAG becomes liable for damages as a result of property damage caused by ticket holders, GFAG may take recourse against the responsible ticket holder(s) up to the amount of the claimed damages. If multiple ticket holders are responsible, they shall assume joint liability for the entire amount of compensation claimed.
4. Transferability of tickets
As a basic principle, single tickets and season tickets are transferrable. In the case of a transferred ticket, however, the ticket owner shall be liable for any damages caused by the ticket holder and may lose any claim to the services connected to the ticket.
Concession tickets or season tickets may only be transferred to persons with an identical claim to that concession.
Selling on tickets for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of GFAG is not permitted.
5. Returning and exchanging tickets
Returning or exchanging season tickets, single tickets or ticket vouchers is not permitted as a basic principle. Tickets may be exchanged in the case of a postponed event (see Section 6.1 Single tickets).
Free tickets, ticket vouchers (subject to the section below), single tickets and season tickets may not be exchanged for a single ticket or a season ticket in a different sector or price category. This applies to both higher and lower price categories.
Ticket vouchers may be changed to a different ticket category for a processing fee of CHF 5.00 per voucher. Changing ticket vouchers to a higher category shall also incur a charge amounting to the difference between the categories on the vouchers. If a ticket voucher is changed to a lower category, the price difference shall lapse. It is not possible to change ticket vouchers to categories with hospitality services or receive a refund for outstanding amounts or differences in price.
6. Postponed, abandoned or cancelled matches and matches behind closed doors
State authorities, UEFA, the Swiss Football Association (SFV) and the Swiss Football League reserve the right to abandon, postpone or cancel matches – including at short notice – or fully or partially close the stadium to spectators.
If some spectators are expelled or sectors are closed, the GFAG may relocate the affected ticket holders to open sectors at its discretion.
6.1 Single tickets
If a match is postponed, purchased tickets shall automatically retain their validity for the new date. However, tickets for postponed matches may also be exchanged for an identical ticket voucher for another match. This does not apply to free tickets. The ticket voucher in question shall remain valid for one year and only grants the holder admission to a match in the designated competition in the same category and with the same concessions. In order to exchange tickets, the ticket holder must post a written request with the original ticket and a dated postmark, which must be delivered the day before the new match date at the latest. It is not possible to receive a refund for the purchase price.
If a match is cancelled or abandoned or in the event of a full or partial stadium closure, it shall not be possible to exchange tickets and ticket holders shall no longer be entitled to a refund of the purchase price.
6.2 Season tickets
If a match is postponed, cancelled or abandoned or in the event of a full or partial stadium closure, ticket holders shall not be entitled to a full or partial refund of the purchase price and shall not be permitted to (partially) return or exchange a season ticket.
7. Data protection
Please refer to the GFAG privacy policy.
8. General provisions
The invalidity of individual provisions of these GTCT shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Invalid provisions shall be replaced by valid provisions that come closest to the economic purpose intended.
These GTCT are governed exclusively by Swiss substantive law, excluding the provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The sole place of jurisdiction shall be Zurich.
