The finals tournament was held on Saturday in two groups of three teams, with the respective group winners ultimately meeting in the cup final.
In the group stage, the 'Junghoppers' faced FC St.Gallen 1879 and Team Ticino Sottoceneri. In the first group match, the Zurich team beat St. Gallen 2:1. In the following match against the Ticino side, a draw was enough for the U15 to secure them the first place and thus a spot in the final.

The final was a very interesting match between both teams. FC Basel was a strong, competitive opponent and both teams had two or three good chances to score. In the end, the game was decided by a free kick, which first hit the crossbar. On the follow-up run, it was a 'Junghopper' who got to the ball first and scored the 1:0 with his head. The game remained tense until the end, but the Zurich team managed to hold on to their 1-0 lead with great determination and perseverance to win the Swiss Cup.
