Demhasaj has been a member of the Grasshopper Club Zurich first-team squad since July 2020 and was loaned to FC Winterthur for the second half of the 2021/22 season. Demhasaj made 13 appearances for the Blue and Whites in the Credit Suisse Super League last season, contributing three goals and two assists. In total, "Mimi" played 64 games for Grasshopper Club Zürich and scored 16 goals.
