Standing tall at 1.92-metres, the Swiss-English striker began his career as an 8-year-old at FC Luzern and moved to Borussia Dortmund's academy in 2019. During this time, Fink progressed to the U17 and U19 teams and also gained valuable experience playing for the Borussia Dortmund II squad in the 3rd Bundesliga. Additionally, Fink earned his spot in the Swiss national junior team from U15 to U21 levels before joining FC Basel in August last year. During his time at FCB he had 25 appearances and scored 5 goals in the Super League. Bradley Fink was previously part of Bruno Berner’s junior national team during his coaching tenure with the U19 and U20 levels. Fink is now set to reunite with GC’s head coach again. He currently holds a contract with FCB, which will run until summer 2026.
Head Coach Bruno Berner about Fink: “We are thrilled with Bradley's decision to join GC Zurich this season. His addition brings a wealth of valuable attributes to the team, including ambition, developmental potential, and a strong personality. Having previously worked with him as the U19 and U20 coach of the Swiss national team, I have come to appreciate his exceptional striking abilities, and I am confident that he will significantly bolster the GC offence.”
Grasshopper Club Zurich is at the same time parting ways with Dominik Schmid who has indicated a desire to join his hometown club after 3 years with GC Zurich. The 25-year-old defender joins FC Basel 1893 for an undisclosed fee.
Grasshopper Club Zurich extends a warm welcome to Bradley Fink and wishes Dominik Schmid all the best for the future.
