MIOCH AND FÄSSLER COMPLETE THE COACHING TEAM

Assistant coach Aurélien Mioch and athletics trainer Manuel Fässler complete the first-team coaching team around head coach Bruno Berner. Both personalities change to Grasshopper Club Zurich from FC Winterthur, where they were already part of Berner's coaching team last season.

During his career, Mioch held various positions at Neuchâtel Xamax for almost ten years, including assistant coach of the first team. After a short stint at SC Kriens, he took over the management of the women's team of the Berner Young Boys in 2021 before moving to Winterthur almost 12 months ago.

Manuel Fässler also boasts many years of experience as a fitness coach in Swiss football. Before joining FCW in 2021, he was employed at various youth levels of FC St. Gallen as well as FC Lucerne and the SFV for several years.

Grasshopper Club Zurich warmly welcomes Aurelién and Manuel to Zurich and looks forward to working with them in the future. 

With these new additions, the Zurich club says farewell to the previous assistant coach Romain Villiger and athletics coach Florian Klausner. Grasshopper Club Zurich would like to thank Romain and Florian for their commitment and wish them all the best for the future.
