Grasshopper Club Zürich is pleased to announce the signing of Noah Loosli. The 24-year-old Swiss central defender signed a 2-year contract and joins GC after three seasons at FC Lausanne-Sport.
Loosli played for several years in GCs youth academy and celebrated his first official match in the Super League with the Hoppers back in 2015. As a free agent, after his contract with Lausanne expired this summer, the Swiss defender eventually chose to return to the club where it all started.
Over the past three seasons in Lausanne, Loosli made 97 appearances and scored 7 goals.
Technical Director Seyi Olofinjani welcomes Loosli back to Zurich: We are excited to bring back a talented player that grew up in our academy. Noah started his career at GC and the fact that he has chosen our club to continue his journey makes us proud. Our head coach Giorgio Contini already had the chance to work with him at Lausanne-Sport and is familiar with the qualities of this young player.
Grasshopper Club Zürich is glad to have Noah Loosli back and wishes him all the best for the current season.
