During the break for international fixtures, Grasshopper Club Zurich is heading to Italy for a brief training camp. Some players from the youth teams (U21 and U18) were also called up for today's departure.

After the public training session this morning on the GC/Campus, the senior team supplemented with some GC youth players travelled to Brenzone sul Garda. The new assistant coach of GC's senior team, Dominik Beršnjak, also made the trip. A second training session will be held already on arrival in Italy. Over the coming four days, the GC professionals will attend intensive training sessions. In addition to various team-building measures, the work on the pitch will be the main focus. There will be two training sessions a day, with video analyses and theory sessions additionally scheduled.

The team will travel back to Zurich on Sunday morning. The 26th match of the league will be played at the Letzigrund stadium against FC Lugano on 31 March 2019.
