GC UNVEILS ITS NEW JERSEYS
Grasshopper Club Zurich is unveiling its new shirts for the 2018/19 season. Fromm, which traditionally has a close partnership with the club, will again be the principal sponsor next season. The agreement with Ochsner Sport has also been extended for further years. Nu's logo will now decorate the back of the jerseys. The Swiss news portal is GC's new exclusive partner.
Blue and white is and will always be the home kit colours of the established Zurich club. And this is not changing in the coming 2018/19 season, when the players of Grasshopper Club Zurich will again line up in the familiar colour combination. The new jersey stands out with its clear line, a revised design and the typical blue and white of GC. The GC professionals will again play their away matches in a black.
"I really like the new home kit," says midfielder Bajrami. Together with his teammates, the 19-year-old unveiled the new kit at this year's season opening. And defender Cédric Zesiger adds: "I'm very comfortable in the new jersey. It fits perfectly."
Fromm will again be on the jerseys of the first team as the principal Grasshopper Club Zurich sponsor next season. GC CEO Manuel Huber made the following statement on the extension of the agreement: "We're very proud and grateful that this important and long-standing partnership will continue next season." In addition to concluding an agreement with Ochsner Sport over several more years, Grasshopper Club Zurich has also won the Swiss news portal Nau as its new exclusive partner. "We are delighted about the collaboration with Nau and confident that this will strengthen our media presence in and around Zurich further," said Huber.
Nau is a Swiss news portal that was established in October 2017. With an editorial team of 45 journalists, the online portal produces regional news and reports in the form of live videos on current topics. "With GC as our strong partner, we plan to further raise our profile in the Zurich region and broadcast in the city and canton direct and exclusive content relating to the established Zurich club," said Yves Kilchenmann, CEO of Nau AG.
On Sunday afternoon, Grasshopper Club Zurich is kicking off its 2018/19 season away against BSC Young Boys. Apart from the two existing partners, Fromm and Ochsner Sport, the Nau logo will already be displayed on the back of the blue and white GC kit during this first match of the season.
