CabaTech was founded in 2018 and has since built an excellent reputation in the electrical planning industry. The family-run business designs and plans electrical installations for residential properties, offices and industrial buildings throughout Switzerland.
CabaTech has been a partner of GC Zurich since 2020, displayed with a permanent banner at the Letzigrund for the past two years. The company is now proudly entering the next phase of the partnership as jersey sponsor for the Swiss Cup. The CabaTech logo will be presented for the first time on the 20th of August during the match against SV Schaffhausen.
Martin Cabalzar, managing director and owner of CabaTech, has been a GC fan since childhood. He and his family share the enthusiasm for the club and regularly attend matches at Letzigrund Stadium.
"We support Grasshopper Club Zurich out of love for the sport, the city and the club. We are really looking forward to an exciting season in the Swiss Cup and the kick-off on August 20th."
Andreas Schmocker, Director of Commerce and Sales at GC Zurich says: "We are delighted to partner with CabaTech and hope to see the jerseys as often as possible during the Cup."
Yellow third shirt for the first round
Since the dark jerseys of SV Schaffhausen cannot be combined with either the GC home or away shirt, the Hoppers will wear the yellow alternate shirt next Sunday. The shirt, which has already been used in the test matches of the pre-season, will be available in a very limited edition in the GC fan shop from 5 p.m. today.
