GC ZURICH AND LOOSLI TO PART WAYS AT THE END OF THE SEASON

Grasshopper Club Zurich and Noah Loosli have decided not to further extend their cooperation, which will expire in June. The Swiss centre-back will join VfL Bochum at the end of the season.

Loosli grew up in Zurich and went through all the youth levels at Grasshopper Club Zurich from GC U10 onwards. In 2015, he played his first official game in the Super League with the Hoppers before going through several loan spells.

After a three-year experience at FC Lausanne-Sport, Loosli returned to Zurich in 2021. In the last two seasons, the 26-year-old defensive player played 46 games for the record champions so far, scoring two goals.

"We thank Noah for his commitment as well as for his professional and always exemplary behaviour as an athlete and a person. He has always shown great passion for our colours in these two years and those who know him know that he will fight with full commitment for GC Zurich until the last game. We wish him all the best for his next station," said sporting director Bernt Haas.

Grasshopper Club Zurich would like to thank Noah for his many years of commitment to the club and wish him only the best for the future.
