LOAN WATCH

With Robin Kalem, Elmin Rastoder and Jia Boyan, three Hoppers are currently on loan. In addition, Leonardo Uka is back from his loan spell from Schaffhausen and is already training with the Hoppers again at the GC/Campus. Here's how the four loan players played in the first half of the season.

Elmin Rastoder - FC Vaduz

Rastoder is currently on loan to Challenge League side FC Vaduz. Rastoder played a total of 26 games for the Liechtenstein club. He scored nine goals and contributed another four goals. The loaned GC striker was also able to gain his first experience on the European stage. With Vaduz, he qualified for the group stage of the Conference League, but unfortunately it was not enough to advance to the knockout phase. The highlight for Rastoder was probably his goal in the group stage against SK Dnipro-1.

Robin Kalem and Leonardo Uka - FC Schaffhausen

With Kalem and Uka, two GC players have been loaned to the Munotstadt this season. Kalem was in the squad for all competitive matches and only failed to make an appearance in the Cup against Yvderdon Sport. Otherwise, Kalem is an important regular for Schaffhausen and was in the starting eleven 13 times out of 20 appearances. The 20-year-old midfielder is also extremely versatile and has played in six different positions.

Uka was in the squad for 17 competitive matches and made eight appearances. In the Swiss Cup, the 21-year-old attacking player scored his first goal for FCS against FC Ibach. Uka is now back from his loan spell and is already back training with the Hoppers at the GC/Campus.

Jia Boyan - NK Dubrava Zagreb

The 19-year-old Chinese striker is currently still on loan at Croatian second division club NK Dubrava Zagreb. The young attacking player has so far mostly gained match practice in the U19. He played with the first team in the second round of the Croatian Cup, scoring a goal in the second minute.

In addition, Simone Stroscio has been in trial training with FC Schaffhausen since Wednesday and will initially train with the Munotstädtern until the Christmas holidays.

Grasshopper Club Zürich wishes its loan players continued positive development and a successful second half of the season.
