ZOLTAN KADAR LEAVES GRASSHOPPER CLUB ZÜRICH

After many years of valuable collaboration, Grasshopper Club Zürich and Head of Development and Coaching Zoltan Kadar part ways. The 55-year-old Romanian, who has held various roles at Grasshopper Club Zürich since 2011, will take up a new position at Bern Young Boys as assistant coach to Raphael Wicky.

Since joining Grasshoppers as a U18 coach in 2011, Zoltan has committed over 10 years working for GC. He held the position of assistant coach of the Grasshopper Club Zürich first team from 2012 to 2017 and celebrated the Cup victory together with Uli Forte in 2013. In the 2020/21 season, he achieved promotion with the Grasshopper Club Zürich as interim coach, bringing the Hoppers back to the highest Swiss division.

Most recently, Kadar was Head of Development and Coaching in the youth department of Grasshopper Club Zürich, meticulously and successfully driving the development and training of young talent.

“It has been a pleasure for me to work for this club for so many years. I have experienced incredible emotions and unforgettable moments, which I will always carry in my heart. I wish GC all the best for the future and am now excited to take on a new challenge”, said Zoltan Kadar.
