Grasshopper Club Zürich are pleased to announce the signing of centre-forward Brayan Riascos. The 27-year-old Colombian striker joins GC Zurich from Metalist Kharkiv until the end of the season, a transfer made possible due to the extraordinary transfer window introduced by FIFA, for players in the Ukrainian league.
Brayan Riascos grew up in the youth academy of Brazilian club Corinthians and continued his career in Portugal, where he played 55 games in Portugals top division with CD Nacional, among others.
Most recently, Riascos was part of Ukrainian club Metalist Kharkiv with whom he played 15 championship matches in the current season, scoring six goals and providing three assists. The Colombian striker now joins GC Zürich until the end of June to play the remainder of the season with the Grasshoppers.

Riascos has already begun training at the GC/Campus and is now awaiting his work permit, which will be issued by the Zurich immigration office in the coming weeks.
