HOPPERS FACE SERVETTE

Just three days after the game against Lugano, Servette is coming to Zurich. Against Geneva, the Hoppers want to find their way back to winning ways.

Despite a good second half, the Hoppers unfortunately ended Thursday night without a point for the second time in a row. Now Giorgio Contini and his boys have the opportunity to show a reaction on Sunday. In the 25th CSSL round, the Zurich team will face Servette FC. Against the fifth-placed team, the Hoppers want to get back to winning ways after two defeats. They have already proven several times this season that they can do this. So far, they have never gone three games in a row without points.

"We have to follow through with our match plan against Servette. That means we have to implement what we've talked about right from the start. There needs to be a healthy aggressiveness and a certain confidence in possession of the ball. We lacked that a bit. We were a bit too hectic and nervous, which caused us to lose unnecessary balls. And that's costing us a lot at the moment, so we need to put that to rest as soon as possible," says Giorgio Contini ahead of tomorrow's clash.

Servette has played an acceptable second half of the season so far, with seven points out of six games. As a result, the Geneva-based team is in fifth place in the midfield of the table. Most recently, head coach Alain Geiger's team managed a 1-0 home win against the reigning champions BSC YB. Schalk scored the winning goal in the third minute of the game.

Against Servette, head coach Giorgio Contini will have to do without Petar Pusic, who is in recovery training. However, Tomás Ribeiro is available again.

The match will be broadcasted as usual on 86-Live (radio and live ticker). In addition, the match will be shown on the platforms of ELEVEN and OneFootball.
