Hayao Kawabe has safely returned to Zurich on Wednesday. The Japanese midfielder returns to Grasshopper Club Zurich on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season 2023. Kawabe rejoins Continis squad and will now focus on preparing for the second half of the season together with his teammates.
The situation is different for Toti Gomes, who impressed coach Bruno Lage after his successful debut in the Premier League. Wolves have thus decided to continue counting on Toti Gomes and will keep him at Wolverhampton for the time being.
