ANDRÉ SANTOS SUFFERS TORN ANKLE LIGAMENTS

André Santos has torn the ligaments on his left ankle and suffered cartilage damage during the test match against FC Dornbirn. The Portuguese midfielder will be out for about 8 weeks.

Grasshopper Club Zürich wishes André Santos a speedy recovery and hopes to welcome him back to training soon. 

Injury update

  • Léo Bonatini and Ermir Lenjani are consistently training with the team and played in the test match against FC Dornbirn on Friday, scoring a goal each.
  • Eliseu Nadjack is still in rehabilitation training and could be back training with the team already this week.
  • For Giotto Morandi, who tore his ACL in February, the rehabilitation training is progressing well. He is partly participating in team training and is expected to be back at the beginning of November.
