Grasshopper Club Zürich has loaned Robin Kalem and Fabio Fehr to FC Schaffhausen for the current season.
Robin Kalem has been part of the first team since June 2020. Last season, the German youngster played 18 competitive games before being ruled out due to a broken sesamoid bone in his right foot. The 19-year-old midfielder has not made any appearances this season. He has played one match for the Under-21s so far, scoring two goals.
Fabio Fehr joined the first team in February 2020. Since then, he has played 44 official matches for Grasshopper Club Zürich, contributing two goals and eight assists. This season, the 21-year-old midfielder has played two competitive matches for the first team.
"For young talents like Robin Kalem and Fabio Fehr, it is very important for their personal development to get more playing time. That's why the loan to Schaffhausen is a great opportunity for them and we look forward to welcoming them back here next summer," said Technical Director Seyi Olofinjana.
