CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH MATEO MATIC

Grasshopper Club Zurich extends the contract with Mateo Matic. The 25-year-old goalkeeper has signed an extension until 202X.

Matic joined GC as a 9-year-old and went through all youth levels with GC. In 2016 he made the jump to the 1st team, in between he was loaned out once. Since last season, Matic has been the number 1 goalkeeper and played in all competitive matches during the 2020/21 season.

"We are delighted to have extended our contract with Mateo Matic. Mateo was an important part of our promotion to the Super League and we are very happy to retain another former youth player" said Seyi Olofinjana on the contract extension with Mateo Matic.

Grasshopper Club Zürich is looking forward to further cooperation with Mateo Matic.
