Four players were nominated for the October Player of the Month presented by Synergetics. In addition to Tim Meyer, Muci, Persson and Morandi were also up for selection. In the end, however, Tim prevailed in the voting and received the most votes from all GC fans.
Meyer was in the starting eleven twice in October (against Lausanne-Sport and Lugano) and played an important role in the GC midfield. The GC youngster impressed with a particularly good performance in the draw against Lugano.
