Tomás Verón Lupi began his career in the youth of Argentinian club Quilmes before moving to Uruguay to join Racing Club de Montevideo in 2022. There he established himself as a key player and shone with his speed and technique on the right wing. Last season, he gained international experience in the Copa Sudamericana, where he scored five goals in nine appearances.

The loan contract with Tomás Verón Lupi runs until the end of the 2024/25 season. GC Zurich has an option to buy.
