SAULO DECARLI MOVES TO GRASSHOPPER CLUB ZURICH

Former Swiss U21 international and Belgian champion Saulo Decarli is joining Grasshopper Club Zürich from 2nd Bundesliga club Eintracht Braunschweig. The club proudly presents its first new signing for the 2024/25 season.

After 131 games in the 2nd Bundesliga, the 32-year-old Swiss player will strengthen the Grasshopper Club Zürich team. Decarli began his career at Locarno and Chiasso before moving to Italian side AS Livorno. Following promotion to Serie A, he continued his career at Eintracht Braunschweig. This was followed by a stint at top Belgian club FC Brugge, with whom he won the league title in 2018 and the Super Cup in 2019. In 2021, Decarli achieved promotion to the 1st Bundesliga with VfL Bochum before moving back to Eintracht Braunschweig.

Saulo Decarli receives a contract until 2025 with an option for a further year. Grasshopper Club Zürich wishes the central defender a good start in Zurich.
