After three defeats in a row, the Zurich side picked up their first points of October against FC Lugano last Thursday evening. Muci gave the Grasshoppers the lead in the first half, and they eventually drew 1:1 with the Ticino side. They now travel to central Switzerland for the final game of three-game-week, when they visit FC Luzern at the Swissporarena.
The month of October was not too successful for Lucerne either. They picked up two points from four games (two draws and two defeats). As a result, the Central Swiss side dropped back down the table and are currently level on points with FC Basel 1893 in fourth place. Most recently, they drew 2:2 away in Geneva. The first meeting between GCZ and FCL at the start of the season also ended in a 2:2 draw.
Against Luzern, head coach Marco Schällibaum will still be without the services of Kristers Tobers and Dorian Babunski (both injured). However, Schällibaum can once again count on the services of captain Amir Abrashi, who returns after his yellow card suspension.
The fan train departs from platform 18 at 13:31. You can find more information about the train at www.sektoriv.ch. If you can't make it to Lucerne, you can follow the game as usual on 86live via live ticker and radio.
