GC ZURICH SIGNS GOALKEEPER STEVEN DEANA

Grasshopper Club Zürich has signed 1.90 meter tall goalkeeper Steven Deana. This secures the temporary replacement for Manuel Kuttin, who will be sidelined for six to eight weeks due to an injury.

With Deana, the club has found an ideal addition to their squad, especially given his previous Super League experience with FC Lugano, FC Sion, and Servette FC. The 33-year-old from Schaffhausen was already with the Hoppers from 2005 to 2009, initially in the GC youth ranks (U16 to U21) and then in the first team. Deana also played for the Swiss national team from U16 to U21. He is now moving to GCZ with immediate effect until the end of the season. Second goalkeeper Manuel Kuttin has sustained a broken finger and will therefore be sidelined for the next six to eight weeks.

Grasshopper Club Zürich wishes Manuel a speedy recovery and extends a warm welcome to Steven.
