Mathieu Choinière joins the club from MLS side CF Montreal, where he trained at youth level and won the Canadian Cup twice. The 25-year-old is also an experienced player for the Canadian national team, where he has played for all the youth sides. He has also been nominated for the last two MLS All-Star Games.

Mathieu Choinière adds: "Joining GC Zurich is the right move for me. I'm looking forward to playing in the Swiss Super League and proving my skills for GC. It's an exciting challenge that I'm highly motivated to take on.”
