An appealing performance was not rewarded with three points in Lucerne. The Zurich side conceded an equalizer in the 89th minute to take just one point from central Switzerland. "It was a very good performance with a lot of heart and soul. [...] But also with a bitter aftertaste after the 1:1", said head coach Marco Schällibaum after the game. The gap between Lausanne-Sport and Basel remains seven and eight points. They now host Yverdon Sport for the second time this season.
The side from western Switzerland are currently in 8th place with a nine points lead over the Zurich team. This means they are almost certain to stay in the CSSL. In the two games of the 2nd phase so far, they beat Lausanne-Sport 3:1, before being beaten 3:1 at bottom-placed Stade-Lausanne last weekend.
