SANGBIN JEONG LEAVES GRASSHOPPER CLUB ZÜRICH

Grasshopper Club Zurich and Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed to terminate the loan of Sangbin Jeong with immediate effect. The 20-year-old South Korean striker, who has received only little playing time in Zurich, will return to Wolverhampton and prepare for the next step in his career.

Jeong joined Grasshopper Club Zurich on loan in January 2022. During his time in Zurich, the young offensive player made 15 appearances with the first team. Additionally, he played 4 games for the U21, scoring two goals. Now he leaves Grasshopper Club Zürich to head back to his parent club and focus on the next challenge.

"We thank Sangbin for his commitment to our club. Despite his young age and the challenge of adjusting to a foreign environment for the first time, he always showed great motivation and a highly professional behaviour. We wish him all the best for his next career step," said Sporting Director Bernt Haas.

Grasshopper Club Zurich thanks Sangbin for his engagement and wishes him all the best for the future.
