The derby against FCZ did not bring the desired reaction. The Grasshoppers were unable to make up the 2:0 half-time deficit. Despite Awer Mabil making it 1:2 in the second half, the derby defeat was the second in a row in the CSSL. The chance to pick up the next points comes tomorrow evening. For the first time this season, the team will visit FC Lausanne-Sport.
The Lausanne side returned to winning ways against FC Winterthur. Two goals in the first half were enough to keep the three points in Vaud. Ludovic Magnin's team thus returned to winning ways after previously drawing against Luzern and being beaten by Servette in the derby two weeks earlier. Thanks to the win against Winterthur, Lausanne-Sport moved up to 9th place and are now three points ahead of GC Zurich.
Head coach Marco Schällibaum will be without the services of Tsiy Ndenge, Maksim Paskotši, Asumah Abubakar, Evans Maurin, Giotto Morandi and Kristers Tobers against Lausanne. While Ndenge, Paskotši, Abubakar and Maurin are still out with minor injuries, Giotto Morandi will miss the game with a yellow card suspension. Kristers Tobers has also been injured and will be out until further notice.
The fan train departs at 13:09 from platform 18. You can find more information about the train at www.sektoriv.ch. If you can't make it to Lausanne, you can follow the game as usual on 86live via live ticker and radio.
