Goals and philosophy

The Grasshopper Club Zürich distinguishes itself as an expert childrens' football provider and is therefore a role model for this level in the region. The GC Football School is geared towards enthusiastic young football fans from the city of Zurich and the surrounding area. At both its locations - the Juchhof sports facility in Zurich and at the Primework Arena Dornau in Dietikon - children, club players and beginners are individually coached and supported in training sessions run by professionals.

The additional training sessions are based on the sporting strategy of the GC youth division and aims to teach young footballers the basics of the sport, as well as key values such as discipline and fairness. Highly-qualified GC coaches offer training sessions designed for children where fun, joy and of course the ball are at the forefront of all activities. All children with a passion for football are welcome. The aim of the GC Football School is to individually support everyone taking part and improve their football skills even further.

We think it's important to introduce the young footballers to the training methods that are based on the sporting strategy of the GC youth division. The GC coaches look forward to working with all children. They are passionate about football, motivated and, in addition to the necessary licences, also have years of experience of working with children.
