Four players were nominated for the December Player of the Month presented by Synergetics. In addition to Noah Persson, Hammel, Abrashi and Ndenge were also up for selection. In the end, however, Noah came out on top and received the most votes from all GC fans.
After the Swede had a good first half of the season and had already been nominated for player of the month in September and October, he now picked up the award in his third nomination. Persson only played one game in December due to a short period of illness, but put in a strong performance in his return in the last game. Away in St.Jakob-Park, the 21-year-old scored the 1:0 winner and also put in a solid defensive performance.
