Four players were nominated for the Player of the Month award for February, presented by Synergetics. In addition to Nestory Irankunda, Muci, Schmitz and Bojang were also up for selection. In the end, Nestory prevailed in the voting and received the most votes from all GC fans.
The FC Bayern Munich loanee joined GC in January and has really arrived in Zurich this month. Even though he has yet to score his first goal in blue and white, the Australian has collected three assists and also scored a penalty against Servette FC.
