Just a few steps from Bellevue and Grossmünster, Grasshopper Club Zurich is opening its new headquarters at Schifflände 5. The premises, located directly on the Limmat River, offer space for press conferences, workshops, and meetings and include several workspaces. A large terrace provides the perfect spot for city festivals and smaller events.
For GC President Stacy Johns, the new headquarters is a testament to the ownership's long-term plan. “This strengthens the club’s local roots,” she said in an in-house interview.
Mike-David Burkhard, Director of Commercial, is excited about the opening: “GC is Zurich’s oldest football club. With the new headquarters, we’re bringing the club closer to our city fans.”
Grasshopper Club Zurich thanks all the volunteers for their enthusiastic support in finding a suitable location. Special thanks also go to the Zentralvorstand, the Fussballsektion, and the Young Donnerstag Club for their annual contributions supporting the headquarters in Zurich.
The official opening of the office will take place early next year.
