GC ZURICH VISITS ST.GALLEN

GC Zurich returned to winning ways last weekend against BSC YB. Now they continue away in eastern Switzerland. FC St.Gallen 1879 will host the zurich side in the 27th CSSL round.

After a run of six games without a win, Tomas Oral's team picked up three points against the reigning champions. Sonny Kittel's goal in the second half made the difference. As a result, they have moved past Yverdon Sport in the table and are now in 10th place. However, as Winterthur also won, the gap to last place is still just six points.

FCW clearly defeated their next GC opponents, FC St.Gallen 1879, 4:0 at home, with the hosts already 3:0 ahead at half-time at the Schützenwiese. This means that the team from eastern Switzerland have now gone three games without a win. They have also dropped down the table and are currently in 8th place. However, they are only one point behind the Championship Group.

There have been two duels between the teams so far this season. FCSG have emerged victorious on both occasions. They won narrowly at home (1:0) and away (1:2).

Tomas Oral will still be without Giotto Morandi and Bryan Lasme on Saturday.

The special train departs from platform 18 at 18:11. You can find more information about the train at www.sektoriv.ch. If you can't make it to St. Gallen, you can follow the game as usual on 86live via live ticker and radio.
