After four completed CSSL rounds, the Swiss Cup is now around the corner. The Zurich side are still waiting for their first competitive win of the 24/25 season, having also failed to pick up any points away at St.Gallen last weekend. Now they are aiming for their first win in the Swiss Cup and are clear favourites against FC Regensdorf.
FC Regensdorf will kick off the 24/25 season tomorrow, having previously played three test matches, all of which they won. In the past season, they finished 3rd in their division. Now it's time for a clash with the Grasshoppers.
Head coach Marco Schällibaum will still be without Joshua Laws, Michael Kempter and Young-jun Lee against FC Regensdorf. Dirk Abels will be available again.

Replacement jerseys against Regensdorf
The Zurich team will be wearing all orange against FC Regensdorf. The reason for this is that GC Zurich's home and away shirts are too similar to FC Regensdorf's home kit. The Grasshoppers are therefore switching to a replacement kit and will be wearing all orange in the first round of the Swiss Cup. The replacement jerseys will not be sold.
